College is supposed to be the best time of your life, so I opted to live on campus over commuting from a mere fifteen minutes away. I believe it makes a significant difference in how you view college. The freedom it permits can completely change a routine and hit hard on your lifestyle. Graduating and moving out is a big adjustment, academically and socially.
